More From Stratus

This ECat update is the second step in the phased rollout of Stratus controls, and we’re just getting started. More releases are on the way.

Stratus and VCCX control options are now selectable for RN-B and RN-C cabinets, extending availability beyond RQ and RN-A packaged air-source units. This rollout allows you time to get familiar with Stratus and bring your team up to speed before VCCX is phased out.

Get ready, now’s the time to sign up for the Intro to Stratus course. Classes are available at the AAON Technical Academy, helping you and your team build the foundational knowledge you’ll need to bring Stratus to your customers.

And stay tuned for more updates: new resources and Stratus education tools are coming soon to Rep Central. Stratus is what happens when every team at AAON builds towards the same goal, a true full-circle system that raises the bar on customer experience from day one.

What Else is Changing

  • The H3 C/D is now compatible with 3-phase heat wheel motors.
    • This slightly increases the length of the energy recovery cabinet, extending the C-cabinet by 2.75” and the D-cabinet by 3.25”.
    • In this version (v371) instead of using a new revision option as previously stated, Feature 17 will instead show either 2 or 3 to indicate the use of the extended ERW cabinet when a heat wheel is selected on a H3-C or D box.
  • Fixed plate energy recovery is no longer selectable with electric preheat for the RQ series.
  • Enhanced fan curves to more accurately reflect the impact of altitude on unit performance and efficiency.
    • For units selected at elevations of 2,000 feet or higher, fan curves are now displayed at both operating and standard conditions. See release notes for an example chart.
