Premium Ship Slot Program Reinstated
We are excited to announce that AAON is immediately reinstating the Premium Ship Slot program for products manufactured in Tulsa and Longview.
The Premium Ship Slot program allows you to request products to be produced and shipped faster than published lead times when possible. Each request is reviewed collectively by the Production Control team in coordination with Engineering, Purchasing, and Planning to determine the minimum acceptable premium.
Important: Not every order will qualify for a Premium Ship Slot. Please do not commit a ship date to your customer until you have received approval.
If approved, you will receive an increased multiplier and approval letter to include with your order.
Steps:
Please submit only one job per request to keep this process as seamless as possible for our Production group.
Answer the questionnaire below and place your answers to the right of each question in RED.
Attach PDFs of your order summary, unit submittal sheets from ECat (not the AEF file), and all SPAs for the order you'd like to expedite.

Please provide your DSO # if your order is currently in house. If not in-house, please provide the anticipated date for full release to AAON.

What is the standard lead time from the report, in weeks (not a date), including any SPAs? If SPAs added lead time, please provide that adder.
What desired lead time are you requesting, in weeks (not a date)? Please note that "best available" is not a valid response, and any request for more than a 4-week improvement will not be accepted.
What is the strategic need for this expedite? Are we trying to get in with this customer, secure more work, keep a competitor out, or something else?
If we are unable to accommodate this request, would there be a significant impact?
