We want to inform you of two important pricing updates, with details on what is causing costs to increase, so you can plan and communicate with customers.

ECat
Update Coming May 21, 2026
6% Surcharge to be Included in Unit Price

The costs associated with the 6% surcharge on AAON equipment will soon be incorporated into our unit pricing with an ECat release on May 21, 2026. After that date, when placing orders using this ECat update, you will no longer need to add the separate surcharge line items. More details will be shared in the communications accompanying the May 21 ECat update.

ECat Update Coming May 28, 2026
2% Price Increase Effective June 1, 2026

Effective June 1, 2026, we will implement a 2% price increase for AAON models RQ, RN A, B, C, D, E cabinets, and RZ. Orders received by AAON after May 31, 2026 must reflect the new pricing. There will be an additional price increase effective July 1, 2026, and very likely again in subsequent month(s).

This is driven by rising costs for raw materials, supplier components, and labor, along with broader inflationary pressures. Additional factors include recently announced tariffs and their current and expected effects on the broader economy, supply chain costs and availability, and overall market pricing for materials, regardless of where those materials are sourced.

Important Details of Upcoming Changes
AAON models CF, H3, V3, SA, SB, and M2 do not have a price increase at this time.

We are only accepting orders without the price increase that have want dates per our lead times and shipped and invoiced accordingly.

  • Orders submitted with a “requested extended ship date” shall be subject to pricing modification including price increases or surcharges that are in effect at the “equivalent order entry date”.

  • The “equivalent order entry date” shall be calculated as the “requested extended ship date” minus the applicable lead time at that point in time.

We need to limit the total volume of orders placed without the price increase. Beyond this limit, the price increase will apply even if the order is received by AAON in May 2026.

  • We must do this to manage the transition in cost levels.
  • We will communicate further as we approach the limit so you are aware when the price increase will be effective. It is anticipated that this date will be prior to June 1, 2026, based on anticipated order volumes.
  • After the volume limit is reached, contact your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to request an exception for projects you forecast to us during the April forecasting cycle to be ordered in the month of May 2026.

Thank you for your continued collaboration with AAON. As always, don't hesitate to reach out to your Regional Sales Manager, Dave Donges (Director of Sales), or Britt Willows (Director of National Accounts) as applicable with any questions.

Sincerely,
Andrew Edmondson
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
