New 40 ton Alpha Class Heat Pump
One additional tonnage is now available for refrigerant injection compressors for heat pump operation down to –20 °F ambient. This adds the A1=K option to the RN-040. The selection is limited to single circuit modulating hot gas reheat (F11A), the new Stratus Controller (F16B=N), and does not include the option for low ambient cooling (F12).
New Energy Recovery options
New High Efficiency Energy Recovery options have been added for the RN A through E, RZ, V3, H3, and SB products. This includes Airxchange's Blue Wave polymer media wheels which have higher efficiencies and lower pressure drop than the standard polymer wheels. Prices for the 1.5" polymer media energy recovery wheels (low cfm/small options) have increased. We will be phasing out these wheels in 2026, please do not lay out new work with the 1.5” wheels. Refer to prior announcement for details about this change.
New fixed plate energy recovery options have been added for the RN A cabinet, RN B cabinet, RN C cabinet, and RN D cabinet.
The Energy Recovery performance software has been updated. Any energy recovery wheel or fixed plate units should be re-run to ensure the newest and most accurate performance is printed.
General Improvements
Editing the Order or Order Status now causes an order to move to the top of the Order Grid to better track which jobs have been recently worked on.
New sort settings have been added to maintain Order Grid display between restarts of ECat and to set the default selected Order/Unit between updates of the grids. Setting each of these options to ‘Yes’ is recommended.
