Reminder: AAON is Phasing Out the AirXChange 1.5" Polymer Media Enthalpy and Sensible Wheels

This is a reminder that AAON is continuing to phase out the AirXChange 1.5" Polymer Media Enthalpy and Sensible Wheels across RN B, C, and D cabinets.

Starting with the ECat Release on August 1, 2026, the following features will no longer be available to order:

• For Feature 4C, options A, J, E, and N are being phased out.
• These are only available when Feature 4B = A or B.

You may notice a price increase for these features, reflecting AAON’s reduced buying levels for these products.

What is being Updated and Why?

• AirXChange's 1.5" Media energy recovery wheels are the oldest models still in production. They will be phased out.
• The new AirXChange BlueWave wheels (High Efficiency Polymer Wheels, Feature 4B = G and H) offer higher effectiveness and lower pressure drops.
• The 3" Polymer wheels in these sizes were previously repriced to support this transition.
• This phase-out also affects some sensible wheel configurations. If you are working with sensible wheel options in these cabinets, please reach out before laying out new work.

As we move through this transition, please do not lay out new work with the 1.5" Polymer Media Enthalpy and Sensible Wheels. If you have any questions or need guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Applications Engineering Department or your Regional Sales Manager.
