AAON is always seeking improvement to keep our customers up to date with the latest and most efficient technology that will last generations. Beginning November 20th, AAON will begin phasing out the AirXChange 1.5” Media Polymer Wheel, offering a reprice of certain energy recovery wheel options and the release of BlueWave wheels.

You may notice a price increase for these features, reflecting AAON’s reduced buying levels for these products.
What is being Updated and Why?

The new AirXChange Blue Wave wheels (High Efficiency Polymer Wheels, Feature 4B = G and H) have higher effectiveness with lower pressure drops compared to the 1.5" media wheels.

AirXChange’s 1.5” Media energy recovery wheels are the oldest models still in production and will be phased out.

The 3" Polymer wheels in these sizes have been repriced to help with this transition.
As we move through this transition, please do not lay out new work with the 1.5” Media polymer wheels. If you have any questions or need guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Applications Engineering Department or your Regional Sales Manager.
