ECat Update Version 6.0.369/5.0.369 Now Available
Stratus Is Coming
This ECat update is the first step in the phased rollout of Stratus controls, and it's only the beginning. More releases are on the way.
Starting now, you can select Stratus or VCCX on packaged air source RQ and RN-A units, with RN-B, RN-C, and RN-D gaining that same option in the months ahead. This stepped rollout gives you time to get familiar with Stratus and bring your team up to speed before VCCX is phased out.
Now's the time to get your team ready. Sign up for the Intro to Stratus course at the AAON Technical Academy and start building the knowledge you'll need to bring Stratus to your customers.
And stay tuned: new resources and Stratus education tools are coming soon to Rep Central. Stratus is what happens when every team at AAON builds toward the same goal, a true full-circle system that raises the bar on customer experience from day one.
ECat 6 Updates
- Lead times in ECat were updated at the beginning of July per the Lead Time update email.
- RN B-D - Turned off low CFM heat wheel options which are being discontinued by Airxchange. Affected models are ERC-3623 (RN-B) and ERC-5245 (RN-C/D) used for units with features F4B=AB and F4C=AEJN.
- Stratus controls are now selectable on packaged air source RQ and RN A cabinets as an alternative to VCCX controls. This can be found on Feature 16B with the option for ‘N’ when A1=FGHK.
- ECat now indicates if it has internet access after the username at the top of the main window. The forecasting tab is no longer viewable if the network is shown as offline. If you lose network connection while on the forecasting screen you will receive an error message on the next edit action.
- This update includes various minor pricing changes as a result of controls components on specific rooftop units with factory controls. Please review the Release Notes for specifics and resave your units for corrected pricing.
