Masters of HVAC: Remastered | Something Special Is Coming
You asked for better. We built it.
We heard you. Many of you have called AAON’s Masters of HVAC the best training program in the industry. And you also told us where you wanted more. More depth. More connection to what you're actually selling. More insight into the forces reshaping HVAC right now.
So, we listened, and then we went to work. Because over here at AAON, being the best isn't a finish line. It's a starting point.
Introducing Masters of HVAC: Remastered
Program updates include:
- Modernized content built for the realities your team faces today
- Stronger ties to AAON products and solutions
- A front-row seat to the industry trends and regulatory shifts that are actively rewriting the rules of HVAC
And we found exactly the right person to take you there.
Meet Your New Instructor: Kevin Teakell

Beginning in 2027, Masters of HVAC will be led by Kevin Teakell, AAON Fellow and 30-year AAON veteran. Kevin spent 22 of those years leading all engineering functions for AAON's Applied Products, overseeing everything from product design and market analysis to field troubleshooting across our large commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, and custom equipment.
He designed the RZ/LZ series and holds a U.S. patent for the use of a desuperheater in an evaporative condenser air conditioner. His industry leadership spans over 50 AHRI committees and several ASHRAE initiatives, including a voting seat on the ASHRAE 90.1 Mechanical Subcommittee.
When Kevin walks into the classroom, he brings decades of engineering, compliance, regulatory expertise, and market insight with him. He'll give your team the kind of industry context that makes them sharper in the field, more confident in every conversation, and clearer on exactly where AAON fits in the market.
The New Schedule
A program this intentional deserves the same care in how we deliver it. That's why Masters of HVAC: Remastered will run once a year, April through September, starting in April 2027.
We're expanding class size, so total capacity stays the same. More seats per session, one great session a year.
We'll be sharing more details as we get closer. But we wanted you to know something special is coming. And your team is going to feel it
Stay tuned — and in the meantime, visit the Masters of HVAC page on Rep Central for everything you need to know about the program.
