The AAON Technical Academy has updated its training curriculum to provide a more streamlined and comprehensive learning experience.
What's changing? Package Unit Startuphas been renamed Introduction to Controls & Commissioningto better reflect the course content.
Introduction to Controls & Commissioning is now a prerequisite for Controls 1(or students must have previously completed the VCCX-454 Startup class).
These changes reduce overlap between courses and allow for more in-depth training on AAON controls, commissioning, and sequences of operation.
Course Overview Introduction to Controls & Commissioning (Tulsa, OK):Covers the fundamentals of starting up, configuring, testing, and commissioning AAON packaged units using Prism II software and VCCX controls.
Controls 1 (Kansas City, MO):Builds on those fundamentals with advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and application-specific training for the AAON VCCX Control System.
